# Step 6 Staging validation checklist

- [ ] Use a separate NEW staging database; import Step 4 migration and seed first.
- [ ] Apply `database/migrations/002_product_images.sql` only to that new database.
- [ ] Confirm admin/super_admin can list all products; seller sees only own products.
- [ ] Add a draft product with no image and check price is stored in paisa.
- [ ] Add JPG, PNG and WEBP images; verify unsupported file type and >4 MB files are rejected.
- [ ] Edit product price and stock; confirm stock adjustment is logged in `stock_logs`.
- [ ] Try duplicate slug/SKU; confirm safe error message.
- [ ] Confirm a seller cannot edit another seller's product by changing the ID in URL.
- [ ] Confirm PHP files in uploads are denied by web server.
- [ ] Check mobile viewport and keyboard focus.
